The Crew

Captain – Bruno

Originally hailing from São Paulo, Bruno was nurtured in close proximity to the sea and its marine life. His profound connection with the ocean began at a young age as he engaged in surfing and spearfishing, dedicating most of his free time to these aquatic pursuits. At the age of 18, he acquired his inaugural boat, which served as a vessel for fishing, surfing, and diving. This ardent affection for the maritime lifestyle eventually prompted him to leave Brazil behind and pursue an international career within the realm of yachts.

Following rigorous training and the development of a robust skillset, Bruno actively sought out professional opportunities, assuming roles such as the Lead Skipper for a flotilla sailing company and participating as crew on numerous sailing yachts exceeding 50 meters in length. His positive outlook and diligent work ethic have solidified his stellar reputation within the industry, with the well-being and contentment of his guests taking precedence.

Over recent years, Bruno has orchestrated numerous prosperous charter seasons in both the Mediterranean and Caribbean regions, including two transatlantic crossings. Safety is a paramount concern for Bruno, and his enthusiasm for imparting knowledge is unmistakable. He is approachable, amicable, and always receptive to any requests, no matter how challenging they may seem. Bruno takes immense pride in his work and consistently strives to ensure his boat stands out as the brightest in the bay.

Chef – Lydia

Lydia’s sailing journey commenced at the age of 6 when she began sailing dinghies and actively participating in local races. This affinity for the water led her to become a proficient Dinghy instructor and an avid diver and paddleboarder. Initially educated in Creative Events Management, Lydia has always harbored a passion for the performing arts and music. She ingeniously combined these versatile skills to evolve into a self-assured, professional yacht chef with a positive outlook.

Drawing from her multifaceted background, Lydia embarked on her yachting career as a guest manager for a flotilla sailing company, where she first crossed paths with Bruno. This marked the beginning of their shared sailing endeavors. Lydia embraced every opportunity that came her way, enabling her to travel extensively and nurture her culinary skills while working on a bustling charter catamaran and private global cruising yachts.  Lydia is deeply committed to crafting nourishing, delectable meals using the finest locally sourced ingredients. Her extensive travels have bestowed her with an inventive flair for presenting food beautifully and tantalizing the taste buds of her guests with unforgettable dishes.
