How much does a charter cost?
Whole yacht, per week: bareboat catamarans US $6,000–15,000; add a captain for around US $1,400–1,800; crewed catamarans US $16,000–25,000 plus APA; luxury crewed catamarans US $28,000–45,000+; crewed motor yachts from US $50,000. Full breakdown in our guide at /blog/grenadines-yacht-charter-cost.
How far in advance should I book?
Christmas, New Year and February half-term — at least six months out. Other dates 2–4 months is usually fine.
What's included in a crewed charter?
Boat, professional crew, all meals and a starter bar, snorkel and water-sports gear, fuel for normal cruising. Premium drinks, marina fees, and shore excursions are extra.
Do we need sailing experience?
Not for a crewed charter. For bareboat, an RYA Day Skipper / ICC / ASA 104 qualification and recent similar experience.
What about hurricanes?
The Grenadines sit at the southern end of the hurricane belt and see very little impact. Most charters operate Nov–early Aug; we monitor weather closely and would never sail into trouble.
