Secure payment

Card payments are processed by Trust Payments on their PCI-DSS Level 1 hosted checkout. Charter funds sit in a regulated client trust account until your charter is complete.

How payment works

  1. Enquire — tell us your dates, group and preferred yacht.
  2. Confirm — we hold the yacht and email you a contract plus a unique secure payment link.
  3. Pay — open the link and pay on the Trust Payments hosted page. Your card details never touch our website.
  4. Sail — funds are held in our regulated trust account and released to the yacht owner after your charter.

Deposits and balances

We collect a 50% deposit at the time of booking and the balance 60 days before charter. Both payments are made via the secure Trust Payments link we email you, and both go into a regulated client trust account separate from our operating funds.

Accepted payment methods

  • Bank transfer — preferred for larger balances, no card surcharge.
  • Credit and debit card via Trust Payments — Visa, Mastercard, Amex. A small card-processing surcharge may apply.
  • ACH for US guests on request.

Why Trust Payments

Trust Payments is an FCA-authorised payment institution and a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor used by thousands of UK and EU merchants. Their hosted checkout means card data is encrypted and handled entirely on their infrastructure — SVG Yachting never sees or stores your card number.

Refund policy

If we cancel for any reason (yacht damage, owner withdrawal), you receive a full refund. If you cancel inside 60 days, the standard charter contract terms apply — we'll always try to re-let the yacht and refund accordingly.
