Palm Island's resort is currently closed and not accessible ashore. The sandy beach remains usable with security permission, and the anchorage is a useful option for larger yachts wishing to visit Clifton on Union Island.

The resort on Palm Island is closed to visitors at present, so the island itself is not accessible. The sandy beach can still be used with security permission. The anchorage off the island remains a practical stop for larger yachts heading to or from Clifton Harbour on Union Island.
